How to Detect a lie?

Image
Looking at the facial expressions of a person to determine whether or not he or she is lying might just save you from being a victim of fraud. Or it could help you know if it's safe to trust your heart and get involved with an attractive stranger. It takes a little practice but having this skill can be fascinating! To get started, read on... Do the handshake test-  Have you ever wanted to know what a person thinks of you? You can learn a lot by just shaking their hand. When you reach out to shake someone’s hand, present them with your hand in a straight up and down manner. Make sure to allow them to twist your hand, however they like. Note what they do with your hand: If they shake your hand in an up and down manner, they see you as an equal. If they twist your palm up towards the ceiling or crush it, they see you as inferior. If they present you with their palm facing the ceiling, they see you as superior. Listen to tone, cadence, and sentence structures-  Often when a person

Cake is the answer, no matter what the question is

Image
The history of cake dates back to ancient times, and the first cakes are thought to have been made in Ancient Greece and Egypt. These first cakes were rather heavy and flat and were eaten at the end of a meal with nuts and honey. Nowadays, this type of cake has evolved into baklava, a traditional Greek dessert and a must-try for any fan of sweet stickiness. In later years the ancient Romans also created their own version of this sweet treat, which was rather creamy and rich. However, like in many cultures around the world, this cake was often reserved for the gods and was offered to them at their temples as a sign of respect, love, and reverence. The Oxford English Dictionary traces the English word cake back to the 13th century. During the Great Depression, it was necessary to provide easy, relatively cheap food to millions of Americans who were living in poverty, and the boxed cake mix was born. The idea turned out to be pure gold, as millions of housewives all over the Unit

What are the dietary supplements and do they really work?

Image
The majority of adults in the United States take one or more dietary supplements either every day or occasionally. Today’s dietary supplements include vitamins, minerals, herbals and botanicals, amino acids, enzymes, and many other products. Dietary supplements come in a variety of forms: traditional tablets, capsules, and powders, as well as drinks and energy bars. Popular supplements include vitamins D and E; minerals like calcium and iron; herbs such as echinacea and garlic; and specialty products like glucosamine, probiotics, and fish oils. Conventional foods are foods that are not dietary supplements. A dietary supplement is a product taken by mouth that is intended to supplement the diet and that contains one or more "dietary ingredients. Dietary supplements are an affordable and effective way to ensure you and your loved ones are getting the daily recommended intake of essential vitamins, minerals and other important nutrients necessary for optimal health. Saying hello doesn't have an ROI. It's about building relationships.

Image
21st Nov, 2017 will be World Hello Day. Saying Hello doesn't have an ROI (Return on Investment). It's about building relationships. The use of hello as a telephone greeting has been credited to Thomas Edison; according to one source, he expressed his surprise with a misheard Hullo. Alexander Graham Bell initially used Ahoy (as used on ships) as a telephone greeting. Once the telephone was invented a very interesting question arrived, as to how do you start conversing or what is the first thing to say when you pick up the phone? It seems as if you are basically speaking to a stranger because you cannot see the person. So a word and a phrase had to found out quickly and Edison came up with ‘hello’. Hello is an alteration of hallo or holla, which is generally used to attract someone’s attention. Hullo or hello is the British version and now used worldwide as a common greeting. World Hello Day may sound extremely basic, as it encourages us to take the opportunity to simply

Computing is not about computers any more. It is about living.

They’re your best friend on almost any day, they work tirelessly to keep you in communication with friends and family, connected with work and the goings-on in the world around you. Sometimes they need a little love, and sometimes they need to be recognized as the individuals they are. Just like your cars your PC💻 has a personality all its own, and just like your car, it deserves a name of its own. Name Your PC Day is your opportunity to stop putting that off and finally christen your PC once and for all. I think it's fair to say that personal computers have become the most empowering tool we've ever created. They're tools of communication, they're tools of creativity, and they can be shaped by their user. Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution. The PC has improved the world in just about every area you can think of. Amazing developments i

Don't Forget 19th Nov, 2017 Will Be International Men's Day.

Image
Yes folks it’s nearly here again, the big day in the calendar that men around the world have been waiting for: International Men’s Day. International Men’s Day was created in 1999 in Trinidad and Tobago. The main purpose of the day is to focus on the health of males. Other aspects of the day include improving gender relations, showing that men can be positive role models, and promoting gender equality. Over eighty countries celebrate Man Day, but it’s not always been like this. Most countries on the list such as the United States and the United Kingdom have only recently started to promote the day. International Men’s Day highlights the common bonds of humanity and aims to bring peace and healing to the world. If you want to take part in events, look on-line to find one of many groups gathering together to have fun. Most places will have fun events with a “manly” theme, such as wrestling and rodeo bull riding. Some years, the coordinators of Man Day suggest a secondary theme to be t

Christmas is doing a little something extra for someone.

Image
Christmas is not a time nor a season, but a state of mind. To cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas. Christmas is a day of meaning and traditions, a special day spent in the warm circle of family and friends. Christmas is a necessity. There has to be at least one day of the year to remind us that we're here for something else besides ourselves. Christmas is the spirit of giving without a thought of getting. It is happiness because we see joy in people. It is forgetting self and finding time for others. It is discarding the meaningless and stressing the true values. Christmas is the perfect time to celebrate the love of God and family and to create memories that will last forever. Jesus is God's perfect, indescribable gift. The amazing thing is that not only are we able to receive this gift, but we are able to share it with others on Christmas and every other day of the year. The spirit of Christmas is the spirit of

Don't Tell Me To Stop Shopping, I Don't Need That Kind Of Negativity In My Life.

Image
In the past, shopping was a routine house work. However, nobody could disagree that shopping has become a hobby to many people rather than a domestic chore. To my mind in the earlier stages of civilization, shopping or rather trading was mostly for attaining food and clothes. But what are the reasons why people enjoy shopping? What I believe is that shopping has become a hobby between the wealthier people only, because it is a costly hobby. Another reason why I disagree is that this hobby prevents people from taking part in other activities, such as sports, what means it is not practical for their health. The best part of online shopping is that you can shop from home. There is no need to go to the mall to purchase the item you need. You just need to order and it will be available right at your doorstep. As you shop from the comfort of your home, you save on gas and time that would otherwise have been spent to reach to the nearest store and look for the desired product.

Well, you know, I was a human being before I became a businessman

Image
Well, you know, I was a human being before I became a businessman. Wherever there is a human being, there is an opportunity for a kindness. I'm not concerned with your liking or disliking me... All I ask is that you respect me as a human being. I was once asked if a big business man ever reached his objective. I replied that if a man ever reached his objective he was not a big business man. If a man can't manage his own life, he can't manage a business. All animals, except man, know that the principal business of life is to enjoy it. The ways of the Lord are different from the ways of man. Man's ways remove people from office or business when they grow old or become disabled. But man's ways are not and never will be the Lord's ways. Before you can become a millionaire, you must learn to think like one. You must learn how to motivate yourself to counter fear with courage. Making critical decisions about your career, business, investments and other resources

Millions saw the apple fall, but Newton was the one who asked why.

My favorite words are possibilities, opportunities and curiosity. I think if you are curious, you create opportunities, and then if you open the doors, you create possibilities. We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths. The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. The tree from which the famous apple is said to have fallen. The human brain had a vast memory storage. It made us curious and very creative. Those were the characteristics that gave us an advantage - curiosity, creativity and memory. And that brain did something very special. It invented an idea called 'the future.' Science means constantly walking a tightrope between blind faith and curiosity; between expertise and creativity; between bias and openness; between experience and epiphany; between ambition and passion; and between arrogance and conviction - in short, bet
